Do we have to replace the systems we already use?

Usually not. Most of what we build sits between the systems you already have and moves the work between them, so nobody has to learn a new tool or migrate anything. Where a tool is genuinely costing more than it returns we will say so, but replacing it is a decision, not a prerequisite.
